Born Again

It's fun to give something a new life, it's one of my favorite things to do. Found this little table at the flea market and I couldn't wait to give it a coat of paint and a new lease on life.

Old tables make the best sign blancs

So do old kitchen cupboard doors

Cafe de Paris

Does my lipstick match this wine?

This was one of the french wines featured in the store so of course it had to be painted in to this feature painting. It's the first you see as you walk in and its very vivid colors really stand out when you see it in person.

Not the greatest shot (minus the tacky silver Xmas foil) but it gives you an idea of just how big it is..the faux brick is courtesy of yours truly.

Call Me..

No, this is not my number. This is one of the ladies that sits at the pub now and shes not at all shy about getting what she wants or letting you know.
"24x72"

details...

The wine featured is one of a local vineyard and the great thing about this job was I sampled them all. This one is very light and refreshing and slightly flowery..great for summer.

A Room With A View

This is one of the murals I did for the Black Swan Cold Beer & Wine Store in December. I spent some time painting murals and various sized paintings for the store and I also went in and did some faux brick throught out the store...it was great fun. I will continue to post pics of the job...but for now I will just let you enjoy the view.

All About Vintage

I would love to have a wardrobe full of vintage dresses and designer shoes. I have been re-watching Audreys old movies lately. Breakfast at Tiffany's was on the other day and I love the story and I have to admit...the girl could wear almost anything and look elegent. She even makes knitting look Tres Chic.

The fabulous fashion of Funny Face was the inspiration for all the dress paintings I have been working on.

While I busy myself with the big canvas I came up with this little idea of painting different scenes on dress shapes. This one is inspired from my letters from Paris series.
